Geoff Peck
Geoff is the founder of Xyto Taxology and a pioneer in tax transformation. With a background as a senior tax technology solution architect and educator, he has been instrumental in redefining the role of the modern “taxologist”. Geoff is also a lecturer at the Tax Law Technology Center at the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
Sarah Kaper
Sarah is the CEO and Founder of Tax Canary, a platform designed to simplify international tax compliance for businesses of all sizes. With a passion for demystifying cross-border tax rules, she has created a tool that bridges the gap between complex tax regulations and user-friendly technology, making compliance more accessible for businesses.
David Gielty
David leads Tax & Technology at AtkinsRéalis, bringing a sharp focus on the intersection of tax and digital transformation. A Chartered Accountant with ICAS, he has spent much of his career integrating innovative technology solutions into complex tax environments.
Wendy Fischnaller
Wendy serves as the Head of Strategic Partnerships at Fonoa, bringing over two decades of experience in indirect tax technology. Her career spans roles in tax preparation, product marketing, and solution architecture, making her a leading voice in the evolution of tax tech.
Gerardo Reyes-Tagle
Gerardo is the Principal Fiscal Economist at the Inter-American Development Bank, with over 20 years of experience in public finance. He specialises in tax policy and administration reforms, particularly in Latin America and the Caribbean, focusing on digitalisation and improving taxpayer services.
David Hadwick
David is a doctoral researcher at the University of Antwerp’s Centre of Excellence DigiTax. His research focuses on the use of artificial intelligence in tax administration, exploring the implications of algorithmic governance on taxpayer rights and privacy.
Kid Misso
Kid is the Chief Operating Officer at VATCalc, a leading provider of VAT determination and reporting solutions. With a background in product management at Avalara and Thomson Reuters, he brings a wealth of experience in scaling tax technology platforms globally.
Adrian Smith
Adrian is a seasoned Indirect Tax Partner, based in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. With a career spanning over four decades, he began his journey in 1983 at HM Customs & Excise in the UK, focusing on VAT large trader audit assurance and Insurance Premium Tax (IPT). He specialises in indirect tax matters, including VAT and IPT, and has been instrumental in advising clients on complex tax issues across various jurisdictions. His deep understanding of tax regulations and commitment to excellence make him a valuable contributor to the podcast.
