Meet the Innovator: Danny Harrington

We’re pleased to introduce Danny Harrington, who has recently joined Innovate Tax and stepped into the Account Manager role.

As many of you will be meeting Danny for the first time through this blog, we sat down with him to find out a bit more about his role, his approach, and what he’s looking forward to in his first few months with the team.

Q: Hi Danny, can you tell us a bit about your role?

I joined at the beginning of April to head up our Account Management service, working with over 60 of our fully supported clients, as well as other global businesses as they undertake major tax and ERPEnterprise resource planning (ERP) is a type of software that organisations use to manage main business processes. projects with us.

A big part of my role is getting to know our clients, understanding their requirements, and helping to ensure we are delivering the right solutions to meet their needs. I’m already getting involved in a range of conversations across projects, which is helping me quickly build a strong understanding of how we can get the best out of our solutions in practice.

Being based in our Bognor Regis office has been a great help so far, as it’s given me the opportunity to work closely with the team day-to-day and really get to know how everything fits together.

I’m also looking forward to spending more time over the coming weeks and months reaching out and introducing myself properly to colleagues and clients across the business.

Q. What drives you to succeed in your role?

I’m driven by the difference we can make when we take something complex and turn it into something clear, practical, and genuinely useful for clients.

For me, success in this role comes from really understanding what clients need, not just at a surface level, but by listening carefully and getting to the heart of the challenges they’re trying to solve. From there, it’s about making sure we’re adding value at every stage of the journey, whether that’s through better communication, clearer direction, or helping to keep projects on track.

I also place a lot of importance on consistency and reliability – making sure clients feel supported throughout, and that they know they can rely on us to deliver.

Q. What are you most looking forward to in the coming months?

I’m really looking forward to getting to know everyone properly – both within Innovate Tax and across our client base.

As someone who is new to the business, I know a lot of people will be meeting me for the first time, so I’m keen to make those introductions and build strong working relationships.

Q. And finally, what do you love to do outside of tax technology?

Outside of work, most of my time is spent with my young daughter. She’s at a great age where she’s constantly growing and learning new things, so I try to make the most of that time with her.

Family is really important to me, and it’s something that keeps everything in perspective.
