Building on Innovate’s success and reputation in the Oracle space, the business is growing into new markets to offer tax technology services to a wider range of potential clients under its Agnostic Tax Practice (ATP).

Role Purpose

An exciting position has arisen for a Product Manager\Owner to play a key role in enabling company product vision. Innovate Tax have gathered considerable market understanding during its 10 years delivering automation projects in 150 countries.  The Indirect Tax landscape, once relatively stable is starting to exponentially evolve requiring the technology supporting to react, response and predict its next move appropriately. As the Product Manager\Owner you will help to streamline, refine and bring products to the marketplace as well as define market opportunities, conceptualize solutions, help build use cases from conducting marketing and competitive research. The Product Manager\Owner will liaise between Commercial, Development and Marketing to support market launch activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • From concept to market release, own the product
  • Champion Innovate Tax products to prospects, customers and internal stakeholders
  • Apply Product Management strategy to develop a product roadmap, drawing insight on market trends – becoming a thought leader in this regard
  • The market is wide and expansive, a key responsibility is to understand our ability to create valuable products to enable growth
  • We always look for the opportunity with Innovation in mind. Technical trends and market acceptance will play a key role in winning the hearts and minds of all stakeholders. This is a responsibility the Product Manager\Owner should relish
  • Creating products is one thing, helping position, market and support the value propositions with credible collateral for each product and the wider Innovate Tax product portfolio is key
  • Communication of competitive product positioning

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrate tax specific experience or translatable experience from other market sectors
  • Provide examples of product strategy and development journeys
  • Understand key tax challenges or be able to demonstrate the ability to learn and appreciate them
  • Strong IT technical awareness
  • Strong communication and awareness – comfortable communicating with all levels of the business as well as customers and prospects alike
  • Influential, motivated and determined
  • Understanding of Agile methodology
  • Business acumen must be a consistent trait to your approach
  • Strong Project Management capabilities across various teams
  • Agile Scrum, Agile Dev experience – focusing on daily scrums and sprint planning and all that influences efficient and successful product development
